The Modern Age is defined by relentless economic, scientific, and social progress. As a consequence, History has conditioned us to expect the same results today.

Collectively, we have come to believe in the inevitability of man.

However, anthropocentric progress is not guaranteed nor is it inevitable. The development of novel material and social technologies begets a fluid scientific, economic, and social paradigm where human flourishing is not necessarily an outcome.

Beyond Moonshots is an introspective blog whose aim is to examine obstacles posed to the West by modern economic, social, and scientific developments and advance potential alternatives such that we might overcome these impediments and sustain humanity’s progress.
